The Imperial New Delhi Hotel

The Imperial New Delhi, India’s iconic heritage luxury hotel, was conceived in 1934 by F. B. Blomfield and inaugurated in 1936. The hotel became part of India’s modern history, hosting meetings between Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Lord Mountbatten during the years leading to independence.
